The Christmas hangover

After all the presents are opened and the kids are playing happily in the basement, the exhaustion catches up to you and you are lucky to put a pillow under your head before you fall asleep.

Riley-ism

In riley's prayer tonight he said "and I'm so glad that it's Christmas because it's such a good time for children."

P.S. When we were driving home from my parents house we saw Santa Claus! He was stopping at someone else's house so we rushed home to hurry and get into bed so that he would come to our house too.

Riley and I were at my parents house so they could watch him until Reed got home from school. Riley and grandpa went downstairs to take something into the basement. Grandpa started to go back upstairs.
Riley: Grandpa you should stay down here with me.
Grandpa: why?
Riley: Because you haven't gotten to see me lately and you really miss me.

Rileys class is sending flat Stanley on vacation. Riley decided that he wanted him to go see Adam in San Francisco.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show

This was the best picture I could get of reed and I at the Australian pink Floyd show at usana. I tried to time it with a flash from the stage so that there would be enough light to see us which is why the bottom half of our faces are cut off. Oh well. We are having fun.

A TRIP HOME

Adam came home last week for a brief visit. It was so great to see him again. Can't wait till Christmas gets here so we can have all the family together again.

A few Riley-isms

I really love dinosaurs. I wish I had one for my brother.

If I had a dinosaur I wish it was a tyranosaurus so I could run from him. I love to run.
