Anyway, that is all. Hope you enjoyed the pics.
After he was "official" wouldn't you know it but Grandpa put him to work. It sure is a hard life being the grandson of a Post Master.
(Actually, Grandpa had Riley laughing so hard he spit out water onto the floor, so we had him clean it up. I just couldn't resist a picture of my baby working at his "first job.")
Here is Sherry, the story time teacher. She is great, Riley loves listening to her read stories.
And is anyone surprised that when she needed people to volunteer to help hold pictures as part of a song that Riley was the first one up there?
After the stories and songs, the kids get to sit down and color some crafts.
Here are Riley and Liv working on their fish tanks.
And here is the finished product, along with the scooby doo books they picked out to take back to our house and read.
And what fun would it be if we didn't go to the park? Here are Riley and Olivia looking out of a hole in the plastic tunnel that connects the different ends of the playground together.
Here the kids are, climbing up onto the playground.
Whee! They love to hold onto the bar and swing a few times before they slide down.
And here is the tire swing.
It's hard to get the kids to smile into the sun to get a good picture.
But I think their favorite part was when they discovered that the water fountain sprays straight up into the air.
It's a water fight!
Here he is riding his bike for the first time with the new license plate.
We had a few days with some really heavy rain lately. After one such rainstorm, we decided to go on a walk down to my parents house. Well of course there was not a puddle that we passed without Riley wanting to drive his bike through it. He had some pretty interesting ideas as to what was on the bottom of the puddle. Something about a ladder down to a place where there were skeletons that were alive and zombies that were dead and scooby doo investigating.
We took a walk down through the orchards on Sunday. When we passed some large sunflower bushes, we decided to stop and decorate Riley's bike with them. Here is Grandpa Brad threading the flowers through the handle bars.
And here is Grandpa Brad and Momma Lynn posing with our little flower child.
Here is a picture from the front. Riley made it maybe a mile before he decided that he was done with having flowers on his bike and pulled them all off.
