CRUISING 2010

We went on a Cruise with Andrea and Casey down to Mexico. We drove to L.A. to get on the ship at Long Beach. This is what the weather looked like the morning that we left.

We drove in a storm pretty much all the way to St. George. Snow until we got past Cedar City and then rain till we got to Mesquite. We stopped off in Vegas for gas at Whiskey Pete's. We all put a dollar in the slots. I lost, Mom lost, Andrea lost but Casey won a $100.00 jackpot with his dollar. Yea Casey. Then it was on to California where the sun was shinning. The next morning we got up and went to Univeral Studios.

We ran into this guy outside their new ride "The Mummy". The girls were all a twitter over this guys bod. I have the same body this guy has it's just that mine is rearranged a little differently.

The next day it was off to Long Beach to board the ship for the Cruise. This ship is the Queen Mary which has been turned into a hotel.

Are you ready to Party?

Oh Yeah!

This was our ship. The "Paradise".

There was so much to do and eat on the ship. We ate and listened to Music, ate and went to a comedy show, ate and went to a movie, ate and played cards........did I mention that we ate.......alot.......like all the time. When we woke up the next morning we ate some more and then went ashore to lovely Catalina Island.

We went back to the ship and had a formal dinner and then went to a great music revue show.

We played golf on the ship, Mom had a hand Message and we all gambled a little. Mom & I were the big winners. I won $5.00 Mom Won $4.00 and Andrea and Casey lost their shorts. We went to a Kareoke Lounge and to another great dinner and then to another comedy show.

The next day we were in Encenada Mexico. Here is the market place and pictures of the ocean. These were the only picturesque thing to see. The rest of Mexico sucked. It was dirty, slummy and disgusting.

And Back home to the Snow we go!

Riley is being such a good little helper and is doing the dishes at
Momma Lynn's house.

A few new Riley-isms

The other day I looked out to check on Riley playing in the yard. He
had his coat and shoes off. I made him come inside and I asked him
why he had his shoes and everything off. I told him it was still way
to cold to be running around like that and he would get sick. He
looked at me calmly and said, "But mom, we were doing yoga, of course."

On Valentine's Day Grandpa Brad and Momma Lynn took Riley to church
with them so Reed and I could spend the day together. Grandpa Brad
asked Riley if he wanted to take some crackers to sacrament in case he
gets hungry. Riley said: No. I've survived church without food and
water before.

This is a boy who partied it up in his valentines party in school today.

TWO DUDES JUST HANGING OUT

Everybody had to work on Saturday so Riley got to hang out with Grandpa all day.

Since it was the first Saturday of the month we went to Home Depo and did the cool kids project that they have each month. This is Riley's awsome shelf for matchbox cars. I think he did a great job with it.

When we got back from Home Depo we played a few games like "Stop Thief" and "Candy Land"

Then we decided to make some cookies. Riley informed me he has a very special top secret technique for mixing cookies.

I think he just liked squishing the dough between his finger and then eating it raw.

Next we rolled them in balls and covered them with sugar and cinnamon. Mmmmmmmm .
