Austin's birthday party

A few weekends ago we got to celebrate Austin's birthday. We had a lot of fun. We went out to eat at the pizza factory where we had a really nice waitress who, when she learned it was Austin's birthday, gave him a cinnamon and sugar dessert pizza shaped in the numbers 13. Wow. Is he 13 already? Crazy how time flies. After we ate we headed back to Andrea's house where we played frisbee in their backyard and then had cake and ice cream.

Memorial Day 2013

On Memorial Day we went to the Fire Station for the annual "Fireman's Breakfast".  Later that day Mom & I walked up the canyon.  While up there we took a couple of pictures of the natural beauty that is only a quick walk from our house.  We do live in a pretty area.

MOTHER'S DAY 2013

For Mother's Day we face timed with Rachel and then snapped a picture of all three girls and their Mother on Mother's Day.  Kinda cool huh! Isn't technology fun.

A mother's day hike up the canyon

 Church got cancelled on Mother's Day... Well we had Sacrament meeting but they had refinished the floors in the gym and the fumes were still strong so the Bishopric said they got permission from the Stake President to cancel church after Sacrament meeting. Since we had so much extra time we decided to take a hike up the canyon. Happy Mother's Day!

A tour of the new Rec Center

They had a grand opening for the new rec center this past Saturday so we decided to head up and check it out. I think I can honestly say that it was Riley's favorite part of his day. We could barely drag him out of there and he has asked if he can go almost every day this week. 

A busy Saturday

A few weeks ago we decided that we wanted to hike up to the Y. Dad had choir practice with a choir he is singing with for Memorial Day and so we dropped him off at his practice and took Riley to Home Depot day. Then once Riley's project was done and Dad was done singing we headed up to the Y. Boy is that a hike. But the views are amazing and it was a lot of fun.
