A "BARRY" NICE SURPRISE !

This weekend was the old man's 62nd birthday and then next week is our 39th wedding anniversary.  To celebrate we had a great Italian dinner over at Andrea's on Saturday night and we faced timed with Rachel and Adam.  Then on Monday night Andrea and Heather took us to the Barry Manilow concert.  It was awesome.  We sang and danced and had a great time.  I love our family.

LET FREEDOM RING

Riley's school participated in a patriotic program held at the Marriott Center at BYU.  Kids wore T-shirts that made a huge American Flag and then the kids sang songs about America.  It was a wonderful evening.

WHEN IT'S SPRING TIME IN THE ROCKIES.................

Casey got a new job as an electrician's apprentice.  He's pretty excited to be starting a new career.

We had a backyard BBQ followed by a game of waffle ball baseball to celebrate his new job.

RELIEF SOCIETY TEMPLE WALK

Mom is now in the Stake Relief Society presidency and they needed to plan an activity for all the women in the stake ages 12 and up.  They decided to have a "Temple Walk".  They all met at the stake center in Santaquin and walked over to the temple in Payson.  When they got there they had the temple president talk to them and then gave each person a handkerchief with the Payson temple embroidered in the corner.  That evening they all came back to the stake center where they served them dinner and then they went into the chapel for the women's conference broadcast.  They had a huge turn out and the event was very successful.

BOY! WHAT A BIRTHDAY

The Saturday before Riley Birthday he got to invite 10 friends to go lazer tagging.  First they had Pizza and then we took them to Provo for the lazer tagging and then came back home and had cake and ice cream and opened presents.  On his actual Birthday he took cupcakes to school and then got to go out to eat lunch at the D.Q.  The following sunday we had the family party complete with a corn beef and cabbage dinner (since he was born on St Patricks Day) and topped it off with a peanut butter birthday cake and ice cream.  Of course we had to measure him on Grandma's door frame.  He seems to be growing like a weed.
