A GRAND OPENING

Andrea got a new building for her Credit Union and they had their Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting ceremony.  FM 100 broadcasted from in front of their building plus Rita's Frozen Custard came and handed out free samples.  Needless to say they had all the big wigs there and Andrea got to cut the Ribbon for the official opening.  Congratulations Andrea on a great job well done.

LABOR DAY IN D.C.

Rachels roommate Kim from SUU came to spend Labor Day with Rachel.  Her two boys love Rachels Covertible Bug.

CANNING TOMATOES

Fall not only brings Labor Day but it also brings lots of garden produce that is ripe and ready to pick. Our tomatoes are on and so on Labor Day we picked and canned tomatoes.  We picked over 5 - 5 gallon buckets of tomatoes and then we had to wash them, slice them up, juice them, cook them down, bottle them, and put them in the pantry.  We made Tomato Juice, Spaghetti Sauce and Salsa.  Yummmmm.....

A TRIP TO CEDAR CITY

We decided to go to Cedar City to the "Shakespeare Festival" to see a play.  However we opted to see "South Pacific" because I was in South Pacific in high school and needed a little trip down memory lane. We also had lots of fun wandering around SUU campus.  It brought back memories of when Rachel was going to school down there.

FUN SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Here are some misc pictures of fun things we've done this summer.  A hike up to Stewart Falls above Sundance, watching the Santaquin City Celebration parade, a new one way street in front of our house and a few plants in full bloom around the yard.  Isn't summer great!!!

THERE IS A BUN IN THE OVEN!!!!

After years of trying, praying, crying, Drs appointments, hormone shots, spooging in a cup and putting it in with a turkey baster it has finally happened.  Andrea & Casey are going to be parents.  We are all so deliriously happy for them we can't hardly stand it.  Now comes the task of finding a name.  If it's a girl it will be Katelyn.  If it's a boy were suggesting Bradam.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

This 4th of July we have been celebrating from one side of this great country to the other.  Adam spent the 4th at a park in SanFrancisco with friends.  Heather Mom and I took Riley to Orem to the Colonial Festival and the Revolutionary War re-enactment. Rachel and Jesus went to a resort in Mexico with friends, but one thing is for sure, we all had a great time. So Happy Birthday America.
