Grandpa got a new patio set

So grandpa got a new patio set this weekend... here are some pictures of Grandpa and Riley putting it together. Riley was a big help of course. He held all the screws and would hand them to grandpa when he needed one.

Here Riley is testing out the first chair that was put together. Looks pretty comfy.

After a while he got a little bored...

And maybe found the box more interesting to play with than it was helping Grandpa. He said the box was his house and he was the dad and he had three kids but they were with the mom shopping. If you want to get a little deeper into his imaginary families geneology all three kids were born on December 17th and the mom has a name but she hasn't told Riley what it is yet, she will only tell grandpa. And the kids names are Mickey and Goofy and the third one is a girl but she hasn't told him what her name is yet. What an odd imagination this kid has. But I love it when he shares his little world with me.

And of course, the whole time, Grandpa just kept plugging away determined to get his patio set together even without his little helper.

Which really paid off in the end because we all got to come over on Sunday and enjoy a delicious dinner on his new patio set and then hang out and play games and just enjoy being together afterwards.
