We decided that it was time to take the grandkids to "Goblin Valley". Everyone has such fond memories of when we went there when they were young that we thought we needed to give this next generation the same experience. So we packed up the grub box and headed south to the desert.
This is one excited bunch of kids! 
On the way down we stopped in Salina for some lunch and ran into this group of about 10 people driving these classic cars. The boys were really excited and wanted their pictures taken by them.
When we arrived we quickly set up camp................
Jumped in the back of Caseys truck...................
and headed to the valley of the goblins.
After spending the day climbing and hiking we returned to camp and had bread bowls with beef stew and the kids roasted hot dogs. We then made smores for dessert.
