IN IT TO END IT

The San Francisco Avon Breast Cancer Walk 2010
Rachel & Mom decided to do the Avon Breast Cancer walk this year so they both raised over $1,800.00 each and we loaded up and headed to San Francisco for the walk. The trip across Nevada was grueling and long but was well worth it in the end because we not only got to go raise awareness of a good cause but also got to see Adam.

Once we got to San Francisco we checked in at our hotel, met up with Adam and then picked up Rachel at the airport.

Since we were all starving we grabbed a quick bite to eat at a little pizza joint.

We then went back to the hotel and just hung out and visited while Riley went wild jumping from bed to bed.

There wasn't enough room for all of us in the escape so we all took turns riding in the back.

The next morning Adam took us to a place called Boogaloos for breakfast. Adam took us to a lot of great little out of the way places to eat that were fantastic.

This is a place called Twin Peaks. A perfect place to look out over the city.

We went to several different parks but this one was a favorite. It had a cool slide in it. So Fun!!!

This is where the outside scene from the tv show "Full House" was filmed. These houses are also called the painted ladies.

More parks

We went to the Palace of fine art.

The next morning Rachel and Mom got up and headed to the walk. Adam dropped Heather Riley and Grandpa off down on the warf and we rode the trolley back to the hotel. Riley was in heaven because he got to stand on the running boards and hang out.

This is Rachel and mom as they made it back across the Golden Gate Bridge.

We left Mom & Rachel to their walking and went to Delores Park for a picnic lunch.

We met back up with the walkers in the castro district.

Rachel and Heather showing us their pink hair in support of the walk.

They ended up walking 27 miles on Saturday and 13 miles on Sunday for a total of 40 miles.

End of the first day

The next morning we ate breakfast at Lefty O Duels a fun pub off of Union Square and then went to meet up with the walkers again.

She Made It!

The finish line.
