We got to have Austin and Zac come over for a few hours and we made Santa cookies. The boys helped cut them out and color them. If they look familiar from an earlier post, you might realize they didn't turn out to well. But it was still a lot of fun.
After cookies Austin and Zac had to go home and we were still waiting on Adam and Dad to get back from the airport and Adams several hour flight delay. Once they arrived we all assembled in the living room to read a Christmas story. Riley and I found a great one called 'A creature was stirring, one boys tale of the night before Christmas.' It was really cute and Riley helped me read it to everyone.

Doesn't everyone look just so interested? Actually I think it was just a long long day and everyone was pretty tired so after the story we all gratefully adjourned to our own long winter's nap so we could be ready for Santa's visit.
